Hi Lea

I went to Stephen Schwartz forum to ask him a question about Mulan
cut songs. Here what I wrote.

"Hi Stephen. I was at Lea Salonga's(singing voice of Mulan) forum and
she mention the song "Written in stone." This was the song she
audition to get the part singing part for Mulan. She really loved the
song and was disappointed that it wasn't use for the movie. Would you
considered letting Lea record the song and other songs that was not
use in Mulan? Thank you."

"I would adore it if Lea wanted to record "Written in Stone" (which is
now being used, albeit with altered lyrics, in the MULAN JR. stage
version.) Please ask Lea to let us know if she needs music or anything
like that for it."

I hope you get a chance to record it. Stephen Schwartz give his
blessing for you to record the song. You just need to get a hold of
him. I would love to hear the songs that was cut from Mulan.

But....could you not have asked him was there a part for Lea in WICKED!!!
Hey, I'd play opposite her as the bubblehead Glinda!

But that's good newz about the songs! He seems a nice chap!
